The Tigers opened on Saturday with a convincing 9-2 win over the University of Pittsburgh followed by an 11-2 thrashing of the University of Delaware.
Following the ECRHA's All-Star Weekend festivities where senior forward Jim Tamburino was crowned the ECRHA's Fastest Skater, Towson stumbled briefly, allowing a late goal to tie SUNY - Binghamton.
Later on Sunday morning, Towson took on their toughest opponent of the weekend, Rochester Institute of Technology. In the 'battle of the Tigers', Towson rebounded from an early deficit to defeat RIT, 6-3.
