Travis "Trableezy" Martin is back for his sophomore season as a Tar Heel.  Recently signed to a rap deal, Martin will be looking to be as strong of a presence in front of the opposing team's net as he is behind a microphone.

October 24, 2006:  Doctors informed sophomore Travis Martin that he has contracted mononucleosis and will be sidelined from the Tar Heels' lineup for the first semester.  Martin hopes to return to the team in January.

January 9, 2007:  Sophomore Travis Martin has decided to leave the team for the remainder of the season due to personal reasons, yet hopes to rejoin the team next year.
