| More About Chris |
|---|
Chris attended the University of Rhode Island, graduating with a degree in Ocean Engineering and a strong focus in URI?s German language program. Midway through his junior year at URI, Chris joined the URI Roller Hockey Team, and played through 1 ½ seasons with the Rams until his graduation in 2004. Chris was a part of the Sweet 16 Rams squad that went to Anaheim that year and lost to eventual champions Lindenwood University. After graduating, Chris stayed in Rhode Island, and picked up the coaching reins from URI. The Rams had their most successful season in team history, making it to the ECRHA semifinals, and winning an at-large bid to Nationals in Fort Collins, CO. There, the Rams fought there way back into the round of 16, losing to Michigan State.
This past summer, Chris has gotten married and moved back to New York, where he resides in Manhattan. Chris has decided to join the coaching staff of Rutgers Roller Hockey, as his knowledge of collegiate roller hockey and unwavering dedication to the sport will serve as key components to Rutgers' push towards a Regional Championship. |
